Face Mind Lab is open to academic and methodological exchange on visual cognition, visual age perception, face matching, observer variability, and the repeatability and calibration of visual judgements.
The focus is on methodological questions: How do judgements about faces and visible cues arise? How can uncertainty, confidence, and observer variability be captured? And how can existing stimulus material be used for controlled observer studies?
